Welcome Table Chorus show at Bombyx; Holiday show at Parlor Room; and Tour with Dar Williams!
Seasons Greetings, dear ones!
It’s the most busiest time of the year, for sure. And pretty wonderful, as every month can be if you sift away all the silliness and heartache. We’re super psyched for our Welcome Table Chorus’s very first concert, happening at 7pm on Dec 16 at Bombyx! It’s a fundraiser for the Food Bank of Northampton, and it’s going to be short and sweet—no longer than an hour. YOU could join the Welcome Table Chorus should you care to. We’re starting up a whole new session on January 6. All the details fit to print are here. Join us next session! It’s been a pure joy for us to create this chorus, and we believe the joy is infectious.
To make matters even more wonderful, we’ll be playing our annual Holiday show at the Parlor Room on December 20, but it’s sold out so don’t get too excited if you don’t already have tickets. However, I can tell you now that we’ll be back at the Iron Horse on February 7! You can definitely get tickets to that, cuz it was just announced!
And then! We’re hitting the road with our dear Dar Williams, opening her Almost New Year tour. Playing on Dec 27 at Stone Mountain Arts Center in Brownsville ME; TCAN (The Center for the Arts) in Natick MA on Dec 28; The Kate in Old Saybrook CT on Dec 29, and then on Tuesday December 30, we’re at the Bell House in Brooklyn.
Lots of fun planned for 2026 including a collaboration with the amazing band High Tea, shows in DC, NYC, Philly and more.

Nerissa Has Written 30 Poems and three songs
…for a fundraiser called 30 Poems in November, AND we poets collectively raised over $100,000! Thank you for your donations to our cause! Nerissa chaired the whole shebang this year and will be singing one of the songs that came out of the enterprise on December 13 at Weinstein Auditorium at Smith College.
You can still support Center for New Americans. A donation in any amount helps them raise awareness, foster community, and promote dialogue about immigration in the U.S. at a time when we appear to have lost our way.
